Joshua Ari Van De Riet, JD, LLM, CHC, RAC, is a U.S. and Israel-based attorney with deep expertise in FDA law, pharmaceutical and medical device regulation, market access, and U.S. healthcare compliance. Joshua began his career as Regulatory Counsel at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where he spent five years working on complex regulatory and enforcement matters. Following his federal service, Joshua practiced at leading Washington, D.C. regulatory law firms, including Olsson Frank and Weeda and Benjamin L. England & Associates, where he advised manufacturers, distributors, clinical trial sponsors, and innovative startups on compliance with FDA, CMS, and HHS requirements. His practice spanned regulatory submissions, import and export controls, labeling and promotion, reimbursement issues, and federal and state transparency obligations.

Joshua later served as Legal Counsel and Director of U.S. Healthcare Compliance for Kamada Ltd., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company. In that role, he led the company’s U.S. compliance program, overseeing federal and state reporting, HCP engagement, internal audits, and compliance training, while partnering with commercial, medical affairs, and corporate leadership to operationalize ethical business practices. Joshua holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Laws (LLM), is certified in Regulatory Affairs (RAC), and is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) reflecting advanced knowledge of global regulatory systems. He also earned a certificate in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law and Compliance.
